PURPOSE: To make partial painting possible by mask jigs through mechanization of post-working by fixing a bumper made of synthetic resin based on its body part, elastically deforming both side parts, holding the same in prescribed shapes and subjecting the bumper to the postworking.
CONSTITUTION: A body part 5 of a bumper molding 4 is mounted and fixed onto an upper receiving surface 10, and a side part receiving surface 12 is advanced up to an advance position by extending a link 15 to insert the surface 12 into a side part 6, thereby expanding the side part 6 and holding the same in the prescribed position further outer than a max. deformation position 9. Therefore, the molding 4 is forcibly corrected and is held at a prescribed shape. Since the molding 4 is elastically deformed further outer than the max. value of the variances of the part 6 and is fixed in this way, the molding 4 is retained always at a constant shape by the surface 10 and the surface 12.
