Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a cotton yarn knit having such camouflagic effect as to be capable of shielding against the detection with infrared rays with a wide wavelength range of 600-1200nm.
CONSTITUTION: A cotton yarn knit is subjected to such camouflagic processing, through dyeing using a vat dye, as to present infrared reflectances of 5-18%, 18-45%, 30-65% and 54-66% in the wavelength regions of 600-660nm, 700-720nm, 740-760nm and 1000-1200nm, respectively.
