PURPOSE: To provide a method for efficiently producing a useful substance such as a cancer-necrotizing factor by culturing a transformant transformed with a highly characteristic-expressing vector for producing the useful substance.
CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this method for producing a cancer- necrotizing factor or a highly homologous polypeptide with the N-terminal part of the factor is to culture a host transformed with a highly characteristic- expressing recombined vector having at least a specific base sequence in a sequence between the promoter region of a gene and a translation-starting codon from Shine-Dalgarno sequence as an expression control sequence on the upstream of the gene coding the substance, and thus efficiently producing the substance in the culture product.
