Abstract:
PURPOSE: To industrially and advantageously obtain a carbazinic acid derivative useful as an intermediate for medicines, a raw material, etc., for agrochemicals in a high yield at a low cost by reacting sodium salt of monochlorourea with an alcohol, an amine or a cyclic amine.
CONSTITUTION: This method for producing the carbazinic acid derivative expressed by formula II (R' is an alcoholate, alkylamino, dialkylamino or cyclic amino) is to react (A) sodium salt of monochlorourea expressed by formula I with (B) an alcohol expressed by the formula R1OH (R1 is an alkyl), an amine expressed by the formula R1R2NH (R2 is H or an alkyl) or a cyclic amine which may have at least one selected from among O, N and S atoms as a heteroatom preferably in the presence of at least one compound of a Zn compound and a Cd compound in a suitable solvent at 5-150°C, preferably 50-150°C for 0.5-3hr, preferably 0.5-1hr.
