Abstract:
PURPOSE: To readily uniform bulk density of a carbon material and to density the carbon material by packing a filter into voids of burned material caused in a production process of a carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material.
CONSTITUTION: A precursor of molded article of a carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material is burnt to give a burnt material. A filler comprising powder and/or fibers is dispersed or suspended in a liquid. The filler-containing liquid is passed through the burnt material, sucked and/or pressurized to pack the filler into voids of the burnt material.
