Abstract:

PURPOSE:To safely and directly obtain the subject compound without passing through diester compounds and using phosgene by reacting a dialkyl pyrocarbonate with bisphenols. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound is obtained by reacting a dialkyl pyrocarbonate (preferably diethyl pyrocarbonate) with bisphenols [preferably 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane (bisphenol A)], preferably at 200-300 deg.C under reduced pressure for 2-10hr.
