Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a chemical resistant membrane with excellent selective permeability to cations by impregnating a perfluorocarbon polymer membrane having sulfonic acid group with diene derivatives having carboxylic acid group; partially polymerizing the diene derivatives; swelling the membrane in an org. solvent; and heat treating the swollen membrane.
