PURPOSE: To provide a production method of a cellulose ester fibrillar material with additives imbedded in or impregnated on its surface.

CONSTITUTION: This production method of the cellulose ester fibrillar material comprises a step to prepare a polymer solution or 'dope', a coagulation liquid and additives, a step to mix the polymer solution with the coagulation liquid within the attenuation zone of a nozzle, a step to add the additives to the mixture within the attenuation zone of the nozzle and a step to form the fibrillar material.
