Abstract:
To easily and stably obtain the subject compound having antibacterial effect in high purity with low by-products, by reaction of a specific organic acid with a specific condensation agent and a 1-hydroxybenzotriazole derivative followed by acylation with 7-aminocephalosporanic acid.
This compound of formula V is obtained by reaction of (A) 2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-syn-methoxyiminoacetic acid with (C) 1-hydroxy-6- trifluoromethylbenzotriazole of formula III in the presence of (B) bis[4-(2,2- dimethyl-1,3-dioxolyl)methyl]carbodiimide of formula II as condensation agent followed by acylation with (D) a compound of formula IV (X is H, acetoxymethyl or 1,2,4-triazine-6-hydroxy-2-methyl-3-thiomethyl-5-one).
