Title:
PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6456350
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce the tiled moldings with a freely modifiable form of hollow on request by burying a tangsten (W) material with the same form as the above hollow in to the ceramic material in the state exposing an edge part, and sintering the above material, and then heat-treating the sintered material in air at a prescribed temp. for a prescribed period.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of providing a curved hollow 4, etc., for introducing a lead-wire in an upper vortex chamber 1a, which wire is to be arranged to supply power to a heater part 3 of an exothermic type ceramic vortex chamber 1 to be used in, e.g., a diesel engine, a W material member such as a W wire having the same size and form as the lead-wrie hollow 4 is buried, in the state exposing the edge part, in the ceramic material, and sintered thereafter. Then, the sintered material is heat-treated in air at 1,000W1,350°C for 3W10hr. Through this heat-treatment, the W material is oxidized to WO3 and pulverized, and this WO3 powder is easily removed from the ceramic material to obtain the titled moldings having the desired form of hollow.
