PURPOSE: To form a homogeneous and high-density ceramic sheet by adding a binder and a specified amt. of polycarboxylic acid dispersant to a ceramic source powder, and then kneading and molding.
CONSTITUTION: A specified amt. of binder such as methylcellulose, plasticizer such as hexyleneglycol, and polycarboxylic acid dispersant are added to a calcined ceramic source powder such as load titanate zirconate piezoelectric material and kneaded. The polycarboxylic acid dispersant is expressed by -(CH2- CHCOONH4)n such as polycarboxylic acid ammonium salt, and is added by 0.01-1.0wt.% of the ceramic source material powder. Then the kneaded material is formed into a green sheet of specified thickness by extrusion molding and calcined at specified temp. to afford a homogeneous and high-density sintered compact without warpage.
