Title:
PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC SUPERCONDUCTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS645946
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramic superconductor having extremely high Jc by sintering a molded material obtd. from pulverized dry raw material mixture obtd. by pulverizing and drying quickly a mixed soln. of a IIA group element compd., a IIIA group element compd., and a Cu compd. in a solvent.

CONSTITUTION: A mixed soln. is prepd. by dissolving each above described raw material in water, alcohol, or acid, etc., then the mixed soln. is dried quickly, pref. instantaneously. Preferred drying method is, for example, a spray drying method wherein the mixed soln. is introduced in misty state into atmosphere held at ≥90°C. The dried powdery raw material mixture is calcined at 500W800°C, and obtd. calcined product is pulverized taking care of mixing of impurities, then the pulverized product is molded to a desired shape. Obtd. molded body is then calcined in an electric furnace, etc. at 700W1,000°C in the air or in O2-enriched atmosphere. then cooled once, and annealed at 300W700°C to obtain thus an aimed ceramic superconductor having high Jc.
