PURPOSE: To coat uniformly, surely and easily a required amt. of a coating material on a core wire body joined with plural pieces of core wires in the stage of subjecting said core wire body to coating by forming the inside holes of core wire feed pipes and a core wire guide pipe into the outside circumferential shape of the core wire body and forming the inside hole of a nozzle into the circumferential surface shape added with the thickness of the coating layer.
CONSTITUTION: A core wire body joined with plural concentrical core wires 1, 1' respectively along the core wire is fed from a container 3 to the nozzle 14 of a coating machine body 4 via a guide plate 17, a pickup roller 7, a guide pipe 8, a wire feed roller 9, feed pipes 10, 10', a guide retaining pipe 12 and a guide pipe 13, by which a coating material 2 is coated thereon. The respective inside holes of the core wire feed pipes 10, 10' and the core wire guide pipe 13 are formed into the shape conforming to the circumscribing circumferential surface of the core wire body and the inside hole of the nozzle 14 of the machine 4 is formed into the circumferential surface conforming to the circumscribing circumferential surface of the core wire body plus the required thickness of the coating layer. The uniform coating layer is thus obtd.
