Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a coating base for a solid enteric preparation by depositing a large amount of a cellulosic polymer as a coating base from the solution and recovering it at good efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: This production process comprises reacting an acid anhydride with a cellulose derivative in the presence of an alkali metal salt in a solution, adding 80-110mol, per 100mol of the alkali metal salt, inorganic acid to the reaction solution after the reaction and mixing the reaction solution with an excess of water to deposit a cellulosic polymer of a solution pH of 3.0-4.0 from the mixed solution.
