Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily form coloring matter films not causing color mixing by electrical contact at the time of electrolysis by rendering insulating property to each electrically conductive coloring matter film with an insulating pigment codeposited in the film. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic soln. contg. a phthalocyanine pigment is mixed with other kind of pigment having high insulating property and the pigments are codeposited to render insulating property to a coloring matter film. For example, electrically conductive Ag paste is applied to a dotted line part 34 and a red coloring matter film is formed on a transparent electrode 31 of indium tin oxide. A dotted line part 35 is then connected with electrically conductive Ag paste and film formation is carried out by electrolysis on an electrode 32. A dotted line part 36 is further connected with Ag paste and film formation is carried out by electrolysis on an electrode 33. By this simple electrical contact, three color films can be formed without overlapping and a color filter not causing color mixing can be produced.
