Abstract:

PURPOSE:To provide the process for production of the color filter which can form a colored resin film having a high printing grade uniformly over a large area without generating unequal printing and eliminates the peeling and imperfect developing of patterns. CONSTITUTION:This process consists in forming the colored resin film on a glass substrate 4 by using a colored resin 12 prepd. by dispersing at least coloring materials into a photosensitive resin and producing the color filter 11 by patterning with a photolithographic method. The same solvent is incorporated into the solvent component to be incorporated into the colored resin 12 and the solvent component to be incorporated into a developer used for a developing stage after film forming and exposing the colored resin 12.
