Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a colored stainless steel sheet excellent in roll formability by specifying elongation percentage in leveler working at the time of straightening the shape of a color coated cold rolled sheet of austenitic stainless steel.
CONSTITUTION: After color coating is applied to a cold rolled austenitic stainless sheet, elongation percentage at the time of tension leveler working for straightening shape is limited to ≤0.2. By this method, the colored stainless steel sheet practically free from the occurrence of oil canning in product shape as well as in metal sheet shape and having superior roll formability can be obtained.
