Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a complex structure comprising fibers and a phenolic resin excellent in molding processability without spoiling thermal characteristics of the resin by poring a mixed dispersion containing fibers/resin coagula dispersion and fiber dispersion onto a porous supporter and eliminating liquid.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A1: a fibers/coagulated resin dispersion obtained by dispersing fiber material and a powder like heat curable phenolic resin having 0.1-150μm particle size and being able to be sieved to ≥50wt.% through 100 Tyler sieve mesh in a liquid containing a polyethylene type nonionic surfactant and holding for a given hour to coagulate the resin which is adhesively bonded around the fiber, and A2: a fiber dispersion obtained by dispersing a fiber material, are mixed to obtain a mixed dispersion, and (B) the mixed dispersion is pored onto a porous supporter and the liquid is eliminated to obtain a complex structure, e.g. in which a coagulum 4 of a resin 1 is stuck around an interlaced part 3 of a fiber material 2, each fiber material 2 is mutually fixed at the interlaced part 3, other coagulum 5 is stuck simply to or around the fiber and a coagulum 6 is dispersed freely in a network of the fiber material.
