Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce high-purity compound oxide containing uniformly distributed constituent elements and free from segregation, by condensing a specific organometallic compound with a protonic acid in a non-aqueous solvent.
CONSTITUTION: The condensation reaction product is produced by condensing (A) an organometallic compound containing a group IWVI metal bonded with an organic group via oxygen atom [e.g. Mg(OCH3)2] with (B) a protonic acid capable of performing condensation reaction with the component A (e.g. H3BO3) in a non-aqueous solvent (e.g. dioxane) at 0W several hundreds °C for 0W several tens hr. The produced condensation reaction product is separated, dried and sintered to obtain the objective oxide.
