Title:
PRODUCTION OF CONDUCTIVE SURFACE COATING USING DISPERSION CONTAINING ELECTROSTATICALLY STABILIZED SILVER NANOPARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011190535
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for production of conductive surface coatings using a dispersion containing electrostatically stabilized silver nanoparticles.

The method for production of conductive surface coatings using the dispersion containing electrostatically stabilized silver nanoparticles comprises the steps of: providing a substrate having a surface; applying the dispersion to the surface, wherein the dispersion comprises (c) at least one liquid dispersant and (d) the electrostatically stabilized silver nanoparticles each having the zeta potential of -20 to -55 mV in the dispersant at the pH value of 2-10; and heating one or both of the surface and the dispersion applied thereto to the temperature of 50°C below the boiling point of the dispersant to 150°C above the boiling point of the dispersant to form a conductive coating on the surface.
