PURPOSE: To clean and to make the cup-shaped body for a rocket motor chamber in a high dimensional accuracy by performing a heat treatment by constraining the clean cup-shaped body with beveling flange to the inert gas blowing-in jig which is in similar figure to the inner face of the cup-shaped body having large coefficient of thermal expansion than that.
CONSTITUTION: The titan group alloy cup-shaped body 5 press-forming, spinning, beveling flange welding and cleaning a blank is placed on the annular holding body 23 of the inert gas blowing and heat treating jig 21 which is in the similar figure to the inner face 5a of the cup-shaped body 5 composed of the austenite group stainless steel having larger coefficient of thermal expansion than that and fastened with a fixing fitting 28. The prescribed heat treatment is performed by inputting this fastened body into a vitreous heat treating furnace and age processing furnace. The inner face 5a of the cup-shaped body 5 and the outer face 22a of the metal die 22 coating a diffusion joining inhibitor are closely fitted and fitted closer further at the cooling time of its delivery from the furnace to make the cup-shaped body 5 clean and highly accurate. A good shaped rocket motor chamber can be made with the finishing of two cup-shaped bodies by welding with the flange part.
