An RFID tag as a radio non-contact type information recording medium is attached to a slit roll which is formed by cutting a master roll. As for the attaching position of the RFID tag, the tag is incorporated into the core of the slit roll, alternatively, the tag is incorporated with a label to be stuck to the slit roll. Various data such as a type of the product, a lot number, and a slit number, etc., are written on the RFID tag by using an RFID R/W 31 at a cutting process. The data is read from the RFID tag by using an exclusive RFID R/W 38 and an exclusive RFID R/W 46 at a perforation process and a winding process, then, the data is used for a production information check and a processing control.
