To improve the production efficiency by monitoring the production progress status, and optimizing the arrangement of workers making use of a computer excellent in the capacity of information collection and simulation.
The data to indicate the production progress status (the production quantity up to the present time) in each process is collected by a progress status collection part 11 of an optimum worker arrangement system through an in-house network. A progress status evaluation part 12 compares the collected quantity of production with the work plan 15 (the preset production quantity on the production plan), and when the delay or advance of the plan exceeds the specified range, the re-arrangement of workers to each process is instructed to a worker re-arrangement examination part 13. The worker re-arrangement examination part 13 examines the optimum arrangement of workers, an arrangement change notification part 14 prepares the order to each worker based on the result of examination, and notifies it to each worker through the in-shop network.
