Abstract:
PURPOSE: To relatively easily obtain the product which forms control release components into chewing gum by subjecting a dry compd. prepd. by drying a specific wet compd. composed of components, such as sweeteners, and a flocculating agent and solvent to grain size adjustment. CONSTITUTION: While the powder components, such as sweeteners, spices, oxidizing agents and medicines, are dry blended with the powder flocculating agent (denatured cellulose, etc.), the solvent, such as water, is added thereto to obtain the wet mixture which does not have the powder and exhibits a non-flow property and brittleness. The wet mixture is dried and is treated by pulverizing and/or screening, by which the flocculated component particle groups within a desired grain size range are obtd.
