Abstract:
To shorten production time, to prevent degradation in the application part of cosmetics and to produce a high-durability applicator.
In this cosmetic applicator, a sheet-shaped member 21 covering the flat section of a stick body 10 is cut into prescribed form and welded while using an ultrasonic machining device 30 utilizing ultrasonic waves and the applying part of cosmetics is formed. Thus, since the ultrasonic machining device 30 utilizing ultrasonic waves is used, the sheet-shaped member 21 to become the applying part of cosmetics can be cut and welded without being heated as a whole, preprocessing of heating as heretofore is unnecessitated, and the producing time can be shortened.
