Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a process for producing a cyclic amidine compound in high yield at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: This process for the production of a cyclic amidine compound by reacting a nitrile compound with a polyamino compound in liquid phase is characterized by carrying out the reaction in the presence of water using a titanium compound as a catalyst.
