Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a producing method capable of enlarging a temperature region exhibiting a rubber elasticity of the resultant cyclic olefin-based polymer to a low temperature side.

CONSTITUTION: This method for producing a cyclic olefin-based copolymer is to copolymerize the following polymerization components (1) to (3) in the following composition ratio: (1) A substituted cyclic olefin containing at least one 3-20C substituent group: 0.1-20mol%, (2) α-olefin: 80-99.9mol% and (3) a cyclic olefin other than substituted cyclic olefin of the component (1): 0-19.9mol%.
