To provide a method for continuously producing cyclohexanol(CHL) from benzene(Bz), capable of solving a problem that cyclohexane(CHX) and Bz are accumulated in a hydration reaction system in high concentrations, not requiring a complicated purification process or the circulation of the CHX and the Bz to an extracting and distilling process for the prevention of the accumulation, reducing the load of the extracting and distilling process, and lowering the production cost.

This method for continuously producing CHL from Bz contains processes (1) to (4). The process (1): the first separation process for separating a hydrogenation mixture obtained by partially hydrogenating Bz and containing Bz, CHX and CHE into the respective components. The process (2): a hydration process for hydrating the CHX separated in the process (1) to obtain a mixture containing CHE, CHL and methylcyclopentane(MCPN). The process (3): the second separation process for separating the hydration reaction mixture into a CHE-MCPN mixture and CHL. The process (4): a process for separating at least a part of the CHE-MCPN mixture separated in the process (3) into a high concentration MCPN component and a low concentration MCPN component, discharging the high concentration MCPN component outside the system, and circulating the low concentration component to the process (2).
