Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable high-yield production of dichloropentafluoropropane (R225) which has been hardly available in high purity and to improve the selectivity of R225cb in R225.
CONSTITUTION: The objective dichloropentafluoropropane can be produced by adding dichlorofluoromethane to chlorotrifluoroethylene and fluorinating the obtained trichlorotetrafluoropropane.
