Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the production method of a dissimilar metal member in which an intermediate metal material is made of high melting temp. when joining dissimilar materials to part of complicated shape metal material in three layers or more.
SOLUTION: When producing a dissimilar metal joined member 1 of at least a three layer stacked construction in which a high melting temp. metal material 3 is sandwiched between low melting temp. metal materials 21, 22, by successively or at same time bringing a probe 41 rotating in high speed into contact with one of a low melting temp. metal material 22, intermediate high melting temp. metal material 3 and other low melting temp. metal material 21, the high melting temp. metal material 3 is broken as well as the low melting temp. metal materials 21, 22 are softened by friction heat, by agitating/fusing both side low melting temp. metal material 21, 22 through a broken part of high melting temp. metal material 3 with the probe 41, the low melting temp. metal materials 21, 22 are joined as well as the high melting temp. metal material 3 are joined between the low melting temp. metal materials 21, 22.
