Abstract:
PURPOSE: To preserve viable bacteria for a long period and to maintain the physiological activity of the bacteria in a dry microorganism preparation.
CONSTITUTION: An active sludge which is the aggregate of microorganisms consisting mainly of bacteria is subjected to the crushing of the cells by an ultrasonic treatment method, etc., and the extracted product is mixed with microorganisms. The produced suspension is adhered to a carrier and dried.
