PURPOSE: To produce the title easy-to-sinter raw powder for the perovskite solid soln. having a desired composition by neutralizing an MgCl2 soln. contg. TaCl5 or NbCl5 with aq. ammonia to coprecipitate the materials, mixing the precipitate with the precipitate of another component, and calcining the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: The composition of the easy-to-sinter raw powder for the perovskite solid soln. is shown by the general formula. The MgCl2 soln. contg. 4W20mol.% TaCl5 or NbCl5, based on Mg, is neutralized with aq. ammonia to ≥10.3pH, and coprecipitated. The A component, the B" component, and the deficient B' component are separately or simultaneously precipitated by a liq. precipitant. The precipitate of Ta or Nb and the precipitate of the other component are mixed, and the mixture is calcined at 400W1,200°C. The raw powder for the perovskite solid soln. uniform, easy to sinter, having high bulk density, and shown by the general formula can be obtained by this wet process. In addition, the composition can be easily controlled.
