PURPOSE: To obtain an elastic forming mold consisting of a stationary piece integrated to an elastic mold, by using a mold consisting of a production mold protruded from a batten, completely dipping the mold in a solution for forming an elastic material, taking the mold out of the solution and drying and solidifying the attached solution.
CONSTITUTION: The objective mold for the production of ice candy, ice cream, chocolate, boiled fish paste, etc., having particular shape is constructed of a stationary piece 3 integrated to a hollow mold M made of an elastic material. A dipping mold A consisting of a production mold 2 having a shape corresponding to the hollow mold M and protruded from a batten 1 is used in the production of the objective mold. The dipping mold A is completely dipped in a solution (a) capable of forming an elastomer (e.g. latex liquid) to coat the whole surface of the mold A with a gelatinous elastic coating film. The coated mold A is taken out of the solution, solidified by drying and released from the mold. The objective mold consisting of a stationary piece 3 integrated to a hollow mold can be produced by this procedure. The same dipping mold A is being used in conventional method, however, the difference from the present process is that only the production mold 2 is dipped in the solution while keeping the batten 1 from dipping.
