Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title polymer containing only selected electrolyte ion as the dopant, by acting both proton donor and ferric hydroxide on a polymerizable monomer to carry out oxidative polymerization.
CONSTITUTION: The objective polymer can be obtained by acting to (A) a polymerizable monomer (e.g., pyrrole, N-methylpyrrole) (B) a proton donor (e.g., polyvinylsulfuric acid) and (C) ferric hydroxide to perform oxidative polymerization of the component A. The amount of the component B to be used is pref. 3W10 equivalent times the component C.
