PURPOSE: To obtain a housing having excellent electromagnetic wave shielding effect and excellent strength, by a method wherein a laminate metal sheet formed by closely adhering and laminating a thermoplastic resin film or a hot melt adhesive to a metal foil is inserted in a mold cavity and a thermo plastic resin fusible to said sheet is injected in the mold cavity.

CONSTITUTION: A kitchen knife shaped cutting blade 2 provided in a male mold 1 is arranged on a parting surface while the recessed part 4 meshed with said cutting blade is provided in a femal mold 3. A laminate metal sheet 9 is supplied from a delivery roll 7 in a suspended state along the parting surface of the female mold 3 and cut by the cutting blade on the way of mold clamping to obtain a cut laminate metal sheet 9; while mold clamping is continued. After the finish of mold clamping, a thermoplastic resin is injected in a cavity from a nozzle touch 6 to be solidified under cooling and the molds are opened to obtain an objective molded product. In preparing a molded product having an opening part, only slight remodeling may be added to the male and female molds.
