PURPOSE: To directly laminate a separation membrane layer on the surface of a porous base plate without interposing an intermediate layer by bringing the slurry of fine acryl particles having particle diameter smaller than the pore of the base plate into contact with the porous base plate and thereafter sticking the particles constituting the separation membrane, heating and calcining the base plate.
CONSTITUTION: A porous base plate having both pore diameters of 5W30μm and porosity of 20W60% is prepared. The slurry suspended with fine acryl particles having particle diameter smaller than the pore diameter of the porous base plate is brought into contact with the surface of the porous base plate and the pore diameter is contracted. As the fine acryl particles, a material which is subjected to surface treatment and improved in wettability and dispersibility is used. Then the base plate is brought into contact with the slurry suspended with the particles constituting a separation membrane and these particles are stuck in the prescribed layer thickness. After the sticking, the base plate is dried and heat-treated. The heat-treatment is firstly performed in the oxidizing atmosphere to gasify and eliminate the fine acryl particles and thereafter the calcination of the separation membrane is performed.
