To provide a method for producing encased soap, wherein a manufacturing cost for the case can be reduced, melted soap is easily filled into the case when processed, the products are hardly damaged and easy to have in one's hand, and any cavities are never developed therein.
This method is to produce an encased soap 10' by solidifying melted soap within a case 1 provided with a molded section 2 having an opening 2a facing upward. The melted soap is filled in the molded section 2 so that the liquid surface may be protruded over the opening to form a convex shape by its surface tension. Consequently, a poured volume of the melted soap is made larger than a volume of the molded section 2 so that a boundary peripheral edge 10" between the upper surface and outer peripheral surface of the solidified soap 10' may form a convex shape.
