To provide a method for producing an epoxy compound having (meth) acryloyl group by which a polymer scarcely sticks to a distillation column without deterioration due to polymerization, etc., of a product in a distillation step and the stability in production and quality is improved.
The characteristic of this method for producing an epoxy compound having (meth)acryloyl group comprises keeping the peroxide concentration of a crude epoxidation reactional liquid introduced into a distillation step at ≤10 ppm when epoxidizing an olefin compound having the (meth)acryloyl group such as 3,4-cyclohexenylmethyl (meth)acrylate with an organic peracid such as peracetic acid and separating the epoxy compound having the (meth)acryloyl group by the distillation.
