PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of the working efficiency of a production line by a method wherein through drive of a robot during the free time of the robot, a display member is placed in a position on a display base body to display a production state.
CONSTITUTION: A central calculator 1 to monitor the working states of robots 41-44 and issue an operation command to the robot and sequencers 81-84 to control the robots are interconnected through e buss and the sequencer and the robot are interconnected therethrough. Display base bodies 141-144 and display members are arranged in the vicinity of at least one robot. Through drive of the robots 41-44 during a free time of the robots 41-44, the display members are placed in respective positions on the display base bodies 141-144 to display a production state. Since, as noted above, the robots 41-44 are caused to perform a work to display the production state through utilization of the free time thereof, the working efficiency of a production line is prevented from damage.
