Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce an ester, capable of reducing energy required for reflux without lowering a reaction rate.
CONSTITUTION: An acid compound is reacted with an alcohol component in a reactor 1, a reaction solution is sent from the reactor to a dehydrating unit 3 which is arranged independently from the reactor 1 and has a larger gas-liquid interface than the reactor and water is removed in an unheated state in the dehydrating unit 3 to produce an ester.
