Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for producing the ethylamine, capable of reducing the load of drainage and improving the rate of employment by using by- produced ethanol as a raw material, and capable of effectively utilizing excessive ethanol or a solution containing the excessive ethanol, when the excessive ethanol or the solution is subjected to a combustion treatment, etc., on the dependence of conditions.
CONSTITUTION: In the method for producing the ethylamine from acetaldehyde as a raw material, a solution system (a prereactor system) for aminating only ethanol is set to the front of a main solution system for aminating the acetaldehyde. The ethanol, ammonia in an amount not exceeding the whole molar number of the fed ethyl groups, preferably 1/3 to 10 times the molar number of the raw material ethanol, more preferably 1/2 to 3 times, and hydrogen gas in an amount not exceeding the molar number of the raw material acetaldehyde, more preferably 0.5-1 times the molar number of the raw material acetaldehyde, are charged in the prereactor system to aminate the ethanol. The reaction gas is subsequently introduced into a reactor for aminating the acetaldehyde or into the arbitrary site of a gas circulation system.
