Abstract:
PURPOSE: To whiten egg yolk and obtain the egg yolk, having enhanced utilization ratio thereof and useful for chickens by removing raw materials such as corn or paprika containing carotenoid-based pigments without changing the component ratio in conventional feeds.
CONSTITUTION: Raw materials such as corn or paprika containing carotenoid- based pigments are removed without changing the component ratio in conventional feeds to afford the objective feed. Furthermore, if the aforementioned feed is supplied for a prescribed period (about 3 weeks), eggs having whitened egg yolk are obtained.
