Title:
PRODUCTION OF FINE RESIN PARTICLES CONTAINING METALLIC CATALYST FOR HYDROSILYLATION REACTION AND HEAT-CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION CONTAINING FINE RESIN PARTICLES OBTAINED BY SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3566361
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce fine resin particles contg. a metallic catalyst for a hydrosilylation reaction having high catalytic activity at a high temp. above the glass transition temp. of the resin and considerably controlled catalytic activity at below the glass transition temp. and to obtain a heat-curable silicone compsn. contg. the produced fine resin particles.
CONSTITUTION: Fine particles consisting of a metallic catalyst for a hydrosilylation reaction and a resin having 40-200°C glass transition temp. are prepd. and aged at a temp. below the glass transition temp. by ≥5°C for 5-700hr under ventilation to produce the objective fine resin particles having 0.01-10μm average particle diameter and contg. 0.01-5wt.% (expressed in terms of metal atoms) of the metallic catalyst.
