PURPOSE: To obtain the titled floating feed, capable of preventing the self- contamination caused by fish raising feed, having high predatory ratio of fish and useful for fish raising, by blending a specific alkali metal salt of carboxymethyl cellulose as a binder, kneading and molding the resultant blend and granulating the molded blend.

CONSTITUTION: A feed obtained by blending an alkali metal salt of carboxymethyl cellulose having 0.45W0.70 substitution degree of carboxymethyl groups per anhydroglucose unit and ≥2,000cP viscosity of a 1wt% aqueous solution at 25°C as a binder with a raw material for fish raising feed, kneading and molding the resultant blend and granulating the molded blend.
