Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of efficiently producing a thin flake-like glass while preventing mutual adhesion and bonding of gel flakes.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a flake-like glass by applying a solution containing an organometallic compound onto a substrate, drying the coated substrate to form a gel-like film and then dipping the substrate to which the gel-like film is attached in a liquid for release to release the gel-like film from the substrate and sintering the gel-like film, organic polymer fine particles are added to the liquid.
