Abstract:
PURPOSE: A tribromophenoxyalcohol is included in laminating materials, thus increasing the flame retardancy without any adverse effect on heat resistance and electrically insulating properties.
CONSTITUTION: A tribromophenoxyalcohol of the formula (n is 1 or more) is incorporated to laminating materials in an amount of preferably 2,5W15 wt% and the resulting materials are laminated. For example, a base material of nonwoven cloth containing paper is impregnated with a compound of the formula, then further with a resin as an epoxy resin, laminated, and formed.
