PURPOSE: To accomplish mass production at low cost the title food prevented from coating breakage due to its processing under heating, by enveloping a matrix made of a food containing cheese and/or butter, etc., in a coating of e.g. grain powder incorporated with butter, etc., followed by forming and then treatment under heating.
CONSTITUTION: A matrix made of a food containing cheese, butter and fatty oil (e.g. tallow, sesame oil, mayonnaise) is enveloped in a coating comprising (1) at least one kind selected from butter, emulsified cheese, cream cheese, fatty oil and fatty oil-related compounds (e.g. sucrose fatty acid esters) and (2) at least one kind selected from grain powder, potato powder and starch, using a relevant machine followed by forming and then treating under heating (e.g. frying, using an oven), thus obtaining the objective food.
