Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a form-rolled gear from a sheet metal having a characteristic in a pre-process for tooth generation.
SOLUTION: In the production method for a form-rolled gear from a sheet metal, by using a sheet like stock 1 of disk like or circular ring like made of metal and a holding part 3 to rotatably hold the sheet like stock 1 and by butting a working tool 4 on part of the periphery 1x of the sheet like stock 1, the pre-process for tooth generation is applied to the periphery 1x of the sheet like stock 1, successively, a tooth generation process to generate a form- rolled tooth 18 is applied to the pre-process part of the sheet like stock 1. In the pre-process, at a state the holding part 3 holds the sheet like stock 1, at least one of the sheet like stock 1 and the working tool 4 is moved against the other along the axial center PA direction, the periphery 1x the sheet like stock 1 is bent in accordance with the movement, and the bent part 16 is formed as a pre-processed part.
