Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an interference in the most suitable with a reinforcing ring by dividing a die member into plural elements, obtaining a tensile stress acting onto each element with simulation, specifying a breaking part of the die member, and attaching with fitting a reinforcing ring of its inner circumferential shape which applies a compression force against the tensile stress.
CONSTITUTION: An inner circumferential shape of a reinforcing ring 24c, or an outer circumferential shape of a die member 24b is machined into a shape based on the most suitable interference curve which can add the compression stress in resist to the tensile stress which adds onto a die member 24b when a subject to be formed is inserted with fitting in the inner circumferential shape of a reinforcing ring 24c or the outer circumferential shape of the die member 24b. Therefore, the die member 24b and the reinforcing ring 24c co-operate to prevent generating cracking on the die member 24b caused on the tensile stress, further to restrict a minute clearance generating caused on the plastic strain, to practically eliminate them, and so, cracking of the die member 24b can be prevented, the die member's 24b life can be lengthened. Further, the most suitable tightening allowance distributing curve to prevent cracking of the die member can be obtained.
