Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a frame structure without welding by selecting a thickness of a round tube based on a product thickness/an elongation percentage, cutting the round tube to a prescribed length, conducting plastic working to a product shape, producing a forming material with joining end parts, charging the forming material into a blow forming die, which regulates an external periphery, and conducting blow-forming with heating.
SOLUTION: A thickness of an aluminum alloy round tube is selected roughly based on (product thickness center peripheral length)×(product thickness)/ (tube thickness center peripheral length). The tube is cut to a prescribed length. The tube is bent with a tube bender to form a shape close to a product shape. The tube is made to a forming material 45 by connecting end parts. The forming material 45 is charged into a blowing forming die 10, which has a cavity regulating an external peripheral face of a product. The forming material 45 is heated to the softening point or higher through under the melting point. A high pressure fluid is blown into the forming material 45 to be subjected to blow forming.
